Welcome to Soulful Healing Psychotherapy

Welcome to Soulful Healing Psychotherapy

Survival was necessary but growth is possible.
You’ve done what you had to do to get here. You’ve pushed through, stayed strong, and shown up for others even when parts of you felt anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
But something isn’t sitting right anymore.
Maybe relationships feel activating or exhausting. Maybe you swing between over-functioning and shutting down. Maybe old wounds are surfacing in ways you can’t think your way out of.
The ways we learn to survive often make sense in the context of what we experienced. But patterns that once protected us can begin to feel limiting, exhausting, or disconnected from the life we want to live.
I specialize in working with adults healing from complex trauma, childhood and attachment wounds, dissociation, grief, and loss. Using EMDR, parts work, attachment-focused therapy, and nervous system-informed approaches, we work together to understand the patterns and protective responses that developed along the way while supporting deeper processing and integration.
The goal is for connection to feel safer, reactions to feel less overwhelming, and for you to feel more present and more fully yourself.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about becoming integrated.
You May Recognize Yourself Here
Many of the adults I work with are:
- High-functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected internally
- Struggling in relationships because of attachment wounds or patterns that are difficult to change
- Carrying the effects of childhood trauma, emotional neglect, religious trauma or abuse, betrayal, grief, or other painful experiences
- Experiencing dissociation, numbness, emotional reactivity, anxiety, depression, or shutdown
- Accustomed to over-functioning, people-pleasing, caretaking, or putting the needs of others before their own
- Tired of understanding why they respond the way they do but still feeling unable to change the response
Therapy can create space to understand not only what happened, but what your mind, body, and nervous system learned to do in response.
Meet Cassandra
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ and EMDRIA Approved Consultant™ specializing in complex and developmental trauma.
My approach is trauma-focused, relational, and grounded in the belief that the ways we learned to survive make sense in the context of what we experienced. My work integrates EMDR, Structural Dissociation and parts work, attachment-focused therapy, and nervous system-informed and somatic approaches.
I approach therapy with authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. Rather than pushing through protective responses or assuming there is one way healing should look, we work collaboratively and at a pace that honors your history, readiness, and nervous system.

Ways to Work Together
Individual Therapy for Adults
I offer individual therapy in an extended-session format, allowing more time and space for depth-oriented work without having to stop just as something important begins to emerge.
Our work may include EMDR, parts work, attachment-focused therapy, and nervous system-informed approaches based on your individual needs, goals, and readiness.
EMDR Intensives
For clients who want to work in a more concentrated way, EMDR Intensives provide larger blocks of dedicated therapeutic time and may include a single intensive session or a series of sessions scheduled across multiple days.
Intensive does not mean pushing harder or processing continuously. The work remains collaborative and intentionally paced, with space for preparation, resourcing, parts work, nervous system regulation, breaks, reflection, and integration.
Beginning therapy, particularly deeper trauma work, can be a significant decision. You do not need to know exactly what type of therapy or session structure would be best for you before reaching out.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can briefly talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether working together may be a good fit.
